Have a look at this BBC documentary about basement extensions:
It is on the iPlayer for the moment: HERE
It becomes clear that "offshore companies" and "subcontractors"
as well as super-rich owners (both from abroad and UK) are
responsible. Where extensions go wrong, resulting in damage
to any neighbouring properties, litigation may be difficult.
WHY ARE THERE NO LAWS AGAINST THEM?
Ask the TORY government... The Building Laws and Deregulation
Bill passed ensure countless MORE EXTENSIONS

interest rates low??? bol - l -ocks!
We do not need to make the rich richer!
We need more social housing!
We need fewer cars,
We need more trains and railways.
We don't need "Academies" sponsored by private consortia!
We need proper centralised, FREE, education for all,
so the new generation can vote freely and with their own
minds, rather than a corporatist one.
We need good, healthy food for all.
We need a free centralised NHS for all.
We need to support the nurses, the Army, the poor,
the disadvantaged.

Rugby scores...
Went all the way to Ealing yesterday to the North Star
and waiting for friends to turn up, i saw the rugby was
on. And I saw the spectacular minutes when Wales took
the lead, and gotta say: it's a lot better than footie!
Well done, Wales, it was a delight!
19-26 - as Mr Burns would say: "Egg-sellent"
My friends DID turn up and laid on a great meal - cheers,
me dears!
